Description
The necropolis with an area of 120x80 M is spread over 4 km from the settlement of Shetpe in Mangistau region. There are 3 cupolas korkhanas, 12 saganatams, 2 sandyktas and more than 100 different types of small kulpytas, koytas, ushtas, tortas, bestas and other traditional types of kulpytas in its area. 2-x cupola oblect (19-20 cc.) in the center of the mound and 2 cupola saganatama (20 c.) have a great architectural significance. Cupolas korkhanas, saganatas and small grave stones were carved using the local traditions and unique technical methods, which were painted with natural colours. The variant of the ornament is based on the motif of the blue ornament, zoomorphic, geometrical, cosmological, household and other themes.
