Description
Baymyrza aulie, the mausoleum. Located in the rural district of Kalamkarasu, village Shubalan (Zhangeldi district, Kostanay region).
One of the most revered sacred places in Zhangeldi district is the mausoleum of Baymyrza aulie Mergenuly, located on a high hill. Baymyrza aulie Mergenuly (1741-1829) is a famous Kazakh batyr. Batyr Baymyrza led the liberation struggle against the Dzungarian conquerors, openly supported the peasant uprising of E. Pugachev, was one of the active participants in the struggle against the colonial policy of the tsarist government. In addition, he had the gift of healing sick people, for which the people called him "Baymyrza aulie", that is, "a holy man".
Baymyrza Batyr is an experienced military commander, the son of a just Mergen (Tenizbay) Bi and the successor of his father's traditions. Mergen bi Babasuly (1691-1754) - Batyr, bi, orator, the head of the family, who lived in the beginning of the XVIII century. For his military art Tenizbay bi was called Mergen (the shooter). In the Battle of Anyrakai, Tenizbay bi was seriously wounded. Then together with Zhanibek Shakshakuly he took part in the reconciliation and establishment of Kazakh-Russian relations, asked to make a compromise with Koygeldy Batyr when he captured the caravan and captured the Russian ambassador Karl Miller.
Mergen Batyr left five guns to his son Baymyrza after his life. At the age of 13, Baimyrza proved himself in the art of war, winning the battle of three Batyrs in a single battle. Dear sages of the three zhuzes wished Baymyrza: "Even the enemy does not wish the death the man with soft soul and heart, life would be long, there would be a saber on the belt, the whip would never fly out of the hands, and health would be doubled, among the descendants would be born biis, batyrs, akyns". There are many glorious names among the descendants of Baymyrza Batyr. Suttibay bi, Toke bi, Smagul rural ruler and military leaders of the period of national liberation movement of 1916. Hakimbek Tokeuly, Seidakhmet Bayseyit became the followers of heroic traditions. In the XIX century, the whole steppe became famous as a batyr and a healer.
After his death, the mausoleum built over the tomb of Baymyrza Aulie became a place of worship for the inhabitants of Torgay. The Mausoleum of Baymyrza aulie Mergenuly has been a "holy mazar" for several centuries. During the Soviet era, despite the anti-religious policy, this place was visited by local residents and paid tribute to the memory of the holy Batyr. It is believed that sick people, sleeping at the foot of the mazar, recover, getting rid of their diseases and ailments.
Sacred personality is mentioned in the works of famous Kazakh writers Gafu Kaiyrbekov and Syrbai Maulenov and in the studies of famous local historians S. Kenzheakhmetuly and Zh. Kosabayev. Descendants of Baymyrza Aulie Mergenuly live in Zhangeldi district. The winner of the state award of RK, poet Gafu Kaiyrbekov and academician Marat Barmankulov are descendants of Baymyrza Aulie.
