Description

It is located on the road to Karakastek village near Almaty (Zhambyl district, Almaty region).

Kainazar ata (1850-1913) - Kazakh batyr, famous during the national liberation struggle against the Kokand conquerors. The father of Kainazar was Shokey from the Shapyrashty tribe of the family of Ekei. Due to his personal qualities, Kainazar became an authoritative beating, participating in the resolution of tribal and internecine disputes. Soon he won the trust of another respected bi and military leader of the Ekei family, Sarybai bi, who valued him as a fearless warrior, a strict but fair judge. According to legends, the Kazakh people said about Kainazar ata: "If you say to bring a hair, he can tear the head off". People's memory also remembered the rumor of him as a nature lover, who decorated his native village with his own trees.

The mausoleum was opened by grateful descendants to the 90th anniversary of the death of Kainazar ata in 2003. The complex of the eminent warrior and bi Kainazar ata is located on a hillside, on the perimeter has a fence made of white silicate bricks with high minaret towers on the corners. In the center there is a mazar of the saint made of white bricks of open design in the form of four pylons with a silver spherical dome. At the entrance to the mausoleum there is a monument of bi. Inside the tomb there are burials of close descendants of Kainazar ata.

The sacredness of the object is connected with the role played by Kainazar ata in the liberation of Kazakh lands from the Kokandians. The Kainazar ata mausoleum is a historical and architectural monument of local importance. The site of pilgrimage and religious tourism.
