Description
Located near the village of Zhanakala near the town of Arkalyk (Kostanai region).
Abdigapar Khan (1870-1919) - one of the leaders and ideological inspirers of the national liberation movement of the Kazakhs of Torgay in 1916. Possessing great influence in the steppe and enjoying unconditional authority, Abdigapar Khan contributed to the fact that under the banner of Amangeldy Imanov united thousands of troops. In the course of the uprising, the Karatorgay parish and then the entire Torgay district rallied behind Abdigapar. November 21, 1916, 13 representatives from all parishes raised khan Abdigapar on a white felt.
Abdigapar Zhanbosynuly was born in the Torgay district of the Torgay region. He came from the Karakypshak family and was a descendant of Batyr Tileuli. Abdigapar studied at a primary school, which was opened in his village. He was a master of woodcarving and irrigated agriculture. In 1908, Abdigapar was chosen for the post of rural administrator. With his soul to support his people, he participated in controversial issues, defending the Kazakhs. In 1911-1912, he defended the arable land of the poor, who took away from the local population for the immigrants from Russia. Soon Abdigapar voluntarily resigned from this position. Abdigapar's social origins did not fit into the Soviet ideology. Therefore, for many decades his role in the uprising of 1916 was hushed up and his name was forgotten. Abdigapar Khan began to be called a khan at a time when severe trials for all peoples of the Russian Empire began, although by that time the institution of the khanate was officially abolished in Kazakhstan. Abdigapar went down in history as a proclaimed khan by the people, and later began to be called an emir.
After his death, Abdigapar was buried near the village of Zhanakala. Few people knew about it, because the burial place was hidden. It was only after gaining independence that the facts of this man's life became widely known. Approximately 100 km south of Arkalyk, there is a dazzling white mausoleum in the steppe, which has a dome in the blue sky. It stands out significantly against the background of the surrounding landscape: a flat deserted steppe, near the old cemetery, where many of the gravestone structures have collapsed.
At this old cemetery one of the noble representatives of the Karakypshak family - Abdigapar Khan - is buried. The prefix of the khan to his name he deserved due to his popularity among the people. The people called him khan at a difficult time for the history of the country. The mausoleum was erected in 2010 by the direct descendants of Abdigapar Khan.
The mausoleum is distinguished by its original architecture, and the white stone from which it was built was specially brought from the Atyrau region. The monument is sacred as a burial place of one of the outstanding sons of the Kazakh people.
