Muslim burial of the New Time Zhumyr

In the field season of 2021, the staff of the Chirikrabat archaeological expedition of the A.H.Margulan Institute of Archaeology under the leadership of J.R.Utubayev investigated a single fence Zhumyr, located 37.5 km south of the village named after Komekbayev (Karmakshinsky district, Kyzylorda region). The object was located on a low flat terrace of the dried-up riverbed of the Zhanadarya River 11 km north of the Babish-mola settlement. A raw fence was excavated in which there were burials according to morphological characteristics, belonged to a Mongoloid woman and a child, dating from the 17th-18th centuries. Burials of this period have not yet been studied in the Zhanadarya riverbed.
