Bokka from excavation of N.A. Mazhitov in the Orenburg region
The III burial mound near the village of Imangulovsky 2 is located 4 km south of the village of 2nd Imangulovo, on a promontory formed by the left bank of the Salmysh River, consists of 11 burial mounds. In 1974, N.A. Mazhitov investigated mound 1. Mound No. 1 with a diameter of 7.5 m, height of 0.40 m. In the center of the mound, a female burial was found with a lining along the western and southern walls measuring 2.35×0.90 m, with a depth of 1.9 m. A fragment of a bronze mirror, fragments of birch bark and beads are marked in the area of the head. During the reconstruction, the form of the birch bark part of the side was restored and its belonging to the Golden Horde variety was determined.
