Archaeological research In the Boraldai Gorge
In the results of research conducted in the valley Boraldai River in the 2019 field season In the Tuttybulak-I cave produced archaeological excavations of the space at the entrance to the cave and along the southeastern wall. At the entrance to the cave, the construction of the foundation of the fence (partition) blocking the entrance to the cave in the center and the construction of the tandoor-type furnace of the early Middle Ages were cleared. Along the southeastern wall of the cave, stone slabs were cleared, which towered in three tiers above the bottom of the excavation. They were formed as a result of falls of different-time detachments from the walls and ceiling of the cave. In the southern part of the cave, fragments of structures of an ancient air duct and a metallurgical furnace of the early Iron Age were found. The material found in different parts and layers of the excavation is represented by fragments of metallurgical slag, metal arrowhead, ceramics, bone and stone tools.
