A detachment of the Central Kazakhstan Expedition of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR investigated four burial grounds and three settlements of the Bronze Age in the Karaganda region.
The Bosingen burial ground is located on the left bank of the Taldy River, 7 km northwest of the Taldinka railway station, and has 30 burial structures, including 25 earth mounds of the Bronze Age. Eight burial mounds 6–12 m in diameter and 0.2–0.6 m high with ring-shaped enclosures made of stone slabs have been excavated. The mounds contained from one to 20 burials. 51 burials were unearthed, including 23 children and teenagers. The buried lay in stone boxes (47) or ground graves (4) in a crouched position on their left side. The graves have been robbed. Bronze grooved bracelets ring with spiral ends, knives, ornamented plaques, bone arrowheads, one and a half turn pendants, paste beads wrapped in gilded foil, a composite bronze braid, and a breast decoration was found. Vessels are jar-shaped and pot-shaped, ornamented with triangles, meanders, zigzags. There are several bowls. The burial ground belongs to the period of developed bronze.
The Upais settlement is located 1.5 km from the burial ground upstream of the Taldy River on its right bank and has about 20 structures. An excavation (225 sq.m.) unearthed a dwelling with an area of 70 sq.m. and a partially preserved stone lining of the pit walls. There are three fire pits on the floor, the collapse of a stove, utility and post pits. Bones of a cow, horse, sheep, a fragment of a bronze knife, a whorl, a bone arrowhead were found. The utensils are similar to ceramics of the Alekseevka type.

At the Kopa settlement, 170 sq. m and 25 household pits of a round-oval shape with dimensions of 0.6 x 3.0 m and a depth of up to 0.5 m were found. The burial structures of the cemeteries of the developed Bronze Age Kopa, Kopa I and Nurken are similar in construction. These are oval-rectangular fences made of stone slabs placed on the edge and stone boxes, covered with slabs and oriented along the west-east line. The burial rite is the burial. In the plundered graves, jars and pots were found ornamented with hatched triangles, zigzags, meander patterns, as well as pasta beads, fragments of grooved bracelets, rings with spiral ends, ornamented plaques, temporal pendants one and a half turns wrapped in gilded foil, a spearhead, pendants made of fangs animals.
