Exploration of 2021 in North- East Saryarka
In 2021, exploration work was carried out in Central Kazakhstan under the leadership of A.D. Kasenova. Among other monuments of Saryarka, settlement and burial complexes of the Bronze Age, Early Iron Age, Middle Ages and Modern Times were opened in the field season of 2021. The discovered settlement of the early Iron Age, according to topography, planography and ceramic material, presumably belongs to the Tasmola culture of Central Kazakhstan and dates back to the 7th – 6th centuries BC. In the field season of 2021, archaeological surveys were also carried out on the territory of the May and Bayanaul districts of the Pavlodar region, as a result of which settlement and burial complexes of the Bronze Age, Early Iron, Medieval and Modern times, such as the Tundik I, Tundik II burial grounds, Arshaly I, Arshaly II, Arshaly III burial grounds were discovered.
